Temporarily setup in the Hall 5 area, the VCB ran for the first time at the museum.

Ran for the first time in Hall 7 as part of the Night At The Museum event.

First Inspection

Fuel system stripped and cleaned. Injectors serviced. Engine run for the first time on public display using temporary fuel tank and the Sulzer hot well


Air Start Valves
2010-04-06

Since arrival one or more air start valves were known to be faulty. Volunteer JW (ex engineer for the engine) removed, cleaned and ground in the air start valves.
