ConditionIn Storage

Initial inspection at Ruabon. Engine was running under load for testing but only running on one cylinder.

Arrived at the museum after storage near Preston for 8 months. Exhaust manifolds missing, Flexsys disposed of them as contaminated with asbestos.

Due to a number of missing parts and the need for spares for the two other S30 engines on site, the decision was taken in November 2009 to strip the twin for parts.

All useable components stripped and bare crankcase and crank disposed of.
