The New Diesel Hall
Current Total - 724 square feet gone
Over this winter we plan to install the Ruston 6VE and Allen S47 diesels in the larger half of the space between the two exisiting main buildings.
In the space between Halls 1 & 2 will go the two Crossley-Premier engines from North Level Internal Drainage Board..
We need to raise money if this is to happen so have come up with the idea of selling the floor!
The new building will have 2100 square feet of floor space and we are offering sponsorship at 12 pounds for a square foot plus 10 pounds for each additional foot, a bargain!
For this, the purchaser will get a nice certificate and his/her name engraved on the plaque that will be displayed inside the new building.
A number of other avenues for funds have been tried including the Heritage Lottery Fund but without success. Once again, we have to go back to Friends of the Museum and other supporters.
Over the four years since we started we have had tremendous support and financial help from enthusiasts all over the world and hope you will continue to support us.
