| History | 1957-03-02 Supplied new to water pumping station at Gerards Cross 2006-10-12 Donated to the museum by Three Valleys Water via Progress Group. Arrived at the museum. 2007-10-14 Temporarily setup in the Hall 5 area, the VCB ran for the first time at the museum. 2009-03-14 Moved into Hall 7 for commissioning. 2009-05-16 Ran for the first time in Hall 7 as part of the Night At The Museum event. |

| Conservation/ Maintenance History | First Inspection 2007-10-13 Fuel system stripped and cleaned. Injectors serviced. Engine run for the first time on public display using temporary fuel tank and the Sulzer hot well Air Start Valves Since arrival one or more air start valves were known to be faulty. Volunteer JW (ex engineer for the engine) removed, cleaned and ground in the air start valves. | |
