1000 Engine RallyIn February 2007 we had a visit from Five Counties Vintage Machinery with a large cheque!

FCVM run the 1000 Engine Rally at Astle Park and made the generous donation from funds raised at the rally. Our thanks to them, it came at just the right time to help get new displays done for 2007.

Alan HutchinsIn 2006 one of the Trustees, Roland Craven, contacted us to say that we had been offered some engines in Devon. Nothing could have prepared for us for what was actually being offered.

Alan donated a number of engines that would normally be well beyond what the museum could hope for. (See News items). The Tangye and Clayton & Shuttleworth should be running for the 2007 season but we still have not managed to find the words to say thanks to Alan properly.

ATISThe ATIS Stationary Engine Mailing list have made several donation to the museum over the last couple of years with the last one going towards the purchase of an early 6 cylinder Pelapone generating set. A great bunch of guys from all over the world, our thanks to them for their continued support.
Mohammad MatboueiMohammad visited us from Iran in 2006 and was so impressed (we think) that he sent a very generous donation on his return to Iran. Our thanks to him and we hope to see him again.
Peter Norman"Little Pete" has been a supporter of the project when it was still at the should we/shouldn't we stage. He has supported us on a regular basis from day one and recently paid for the move of all the engines from Alan Hutchins in Devon.
Peter ScalesA Life Member of the "Friends" Peter came to our rescue when we struggling to afford the move of the Sulzer from Sommerford to the museum. A significant object might have been lost to us without his help!
