That's way too large a question for a one-fingered typist. Please come bacjk with questions as you go along.

A starter tip; Don't attempt a run until you know that: The governor is free, the main bearing wells are clean and full, The pipes and oilways to the big end are clean, and the lubricator works.

... and the crankcase is clear of oil, run with the crankcase tap cracked open to prevent any build up of oil/fuel.

Also, when trying a first start be careful to occasionally clear the cylinder as it gets quite exciting when any semidiesel starts with excess fuel in the cylinder :-)

Hello Col,
Good luck with the 12/14! You have come to the right place to find the help to get it going. I am of the good luck to own one myself but my knowledge is extreemly limited. I can only add to pay close attention to what they say about excess fuel in the cylinder, Just a bit extra will cause your rearend to pucker  as the revs just continue to climb no matter what you do until it is burned away

Where is the piston stuck? If above ports then fill cylinder with diesel, if below then remove cover plates and exhaust pot and block the ports then fill with diesel.
Can you remove the flywheels and governor as the latter is likely to be very siezed and need some serious and prolonged, but not savage work.

Some pics would be good please.

Thanks Roland, the piston is stuck above the ports and has had diesel in it for some time befor I got it . The injector looks well rusted in will have to heat to get it out . Have got all the head bolts off. The fly wheels will take some geting off, I am in the process off doing a Lister I had all kinds of trouble with one fly wheel key and geting the the piston free .Cheers Col

Patience is the key. The original sprayer was bronze (Gunmetal) so shouldn't rust.

cheers
