Internal Fire Museum of Power

Hi all, first post on here.
i am a volunteer at the East Mids Aeropark near Nottingham, not been there long but they have two CV flat 4cyl petrol engined pnumatic rigs with Solex carbs( no .i.d on the carbs but they are side draft gravity fead).
Neither will run.
If feed with ether they fire up but will not run on carb.
Plugs are dry after hand cranking so I'm assuming carb fault.( good compression on all 4 cyl on turn over.)
Have stripped and cleaned one of the carbs and remade all gaskets but to no avail!!!!!

Help, has anyone any experiance or documents that may help my quest for enlightenment!

Have you downloaded the Neptune manual in the manuals section, is this the same engine?

Other than starting at the beginning and following the fuel system through, not sure what to suggest.

Check the fuel filters are clean, check the float valves in the carbs etc. Just work through from the tank to the carb.

Thanks Paul, float chamber is filling up fine, problems internally with the carb i think.
