When I started out with my Grandad I used to see engine for sale and think once im working I could afford one of those, how wrong was I, some engines have doubled, tripled or even more! and trying to save with a baby on the way doesn't help! specially when there is a nice Gilson Johnny on the spot that keeps catching my eye!

Im not sure what else of the Lister he sold, but there was only 3 items with bigs last time I looked, and on last count didnt cover the cost of the Mag rebuild, owell he as plenty of door stops now.

I bet there is a few people searching for lister B carbs at the mo, getting them on ebay at £50 a pop :shock: lister D carbs on there are silly too, Im sure we picked them up for a fiver!

I have been looking for a D carb for the teles, but they are ridiculous, these sortouts are the way forward for that sort of thing

I see your point, but if I hadn't of bought it, then mine would have probalby been broken for spares, a viscious circle really
