Well done to Paul and Hazel for bringing this subject to everyones attention. Its easy to forget that without the Museum, I doubt we would have this excellent Forum.

The email circulation was something we were wary of and has brought a few unpleasant replies :-)

However, everyone has been extremely generous and besides the Everyclick sum we have several hundred though PayPal and some more promised, everyone here is stunned by the response, very pleased indeed.

Almost certainly enough to cover purchasing the roof sheets, steel is next and the fabricator is ready to start work once we have the concrete pads down.

good news on the steel front.As without a roof covering exhibits or even the space a lot of them engines would have been in the melting pot.
