Internal Fire Museum of Power

It is with great regret to announce that last weekend my great friend Allan Harris lost his beloved wife Wendy. I doubt there are many folk on here that would have met Wendy but Allan has been fairly active on the rally scene for many years showing his Listers in the South East and occasionally further afield.
Wendy was always such a kind and friendly person. Anyone in difficulties, no matter who they were, was the recipient of some kindly and helpful advice if needed or simply a shoulder to cry on. She loved her animals too, donating to many charities as well as looking after several rescue rabbits and cats with Allan. It wasnt just animal charities either. After a major operation for cancer, Wendy took the 'walk for life' to raise money despite by now suffering with the early onset of COPD! It was this disease that was to rob Wendy of her freedom. Dependant on an oxygen supply she would only venture within a few miles of home and as things grew worse even this became too much of a trauma. Right to the end Wendy rarely complained and was always doing something for her neighbours often making cakes - a favourite occupation she was still able to do.
So if there is something we can all gain from this posting it is this... The next time you are ready to chastise or criticise someone, think of Wendy and perhaps instead encourage or advise.
