Hi All
Had a visit to Museum of Power on Sunday, with battery charged, unlike last year.
I think I have put a video clip on YouTube, it's scruffy but my first! Would have been better with a wider lens http://youtu.be/cxKONGBsEFc
The Lillishall is the remaining one of three that pumped water to Southend. It is a triple expansion 32 rpm with 200psi to the hp cylinder. The basement is as tall as the engine and houses three further ram pumps.
The gentleman starting the Hornsby Ackroyd will be familiar to some of you, he appears on the museum video starting the Paxman Vega. Had a long chat, a very plesant and knowledgeable fellow.

AIUI Alex was Paxman's chief governer designer and regarded as a world authority. A thoroughly nice chap to boot.
