S.E.A.M.S Club Bring & Buy and Gas-up at :-
The South Downs Garden Centre
Brighton Road,
Hassocks,
West Sussex
BN6 9LY

This year we are incorperating into our March Gas-up our annual Bring & Buy at the Southdown Garden Centre. This is your chance to bring along your unwanted junk and try to turn it into some cash or come along to see if you can find that illusive part to finnish a project.
If you would rather come along and display your engine (a Valid Five Million pound Insurance certificate is required) or would just like to turn up for a chat we will be pleased to see you. This is always a popular event with plenty to see around the Garden Centre and it incorporates a very nice café where you can purchase a hearty breakfast. There are also plenty of interesting things to see in thier Heritage Centre.
We are asking for £5.00 per pitch for selling your items.
Running Engines will be cordoned off separately from the Bring & Buy.
Starts at 10am Finnishes around 3pm

Martin,
It went very well. A good turnout and plenty of items & several engine for sale, also a lot of public visiting the garden centre, came over & had a look around the Junk & Engine displays.
I managed to fill a few gaps in my SEM collection at very reasonable prices and sold enough junk to cover my day out.
I took along my 1924 Lister 'B' type which ran very well. I'll post some pics when time permits.

Cheers

Paul.
