Hi
Does anyone know of anyone who would be able to rebuild a Lucas RS1 mag for me in suffolk. I would rather it was in suffolk as i could save on postage costs
Thanks
Andrew

If the cost of a fiver's worth of postage is important, you are unlikely to like the price charged for a full mag rebuild - depending on what it needs it is unlikely to be less than £100. Try your local auto-electrics place, they may have a contact, otherwise a serviceable replacement may be a better option.

I know the cost of a rebuild and i have about £130 saved but being 16 i want to spend as much of the money as possible on the actual mag rebuild and possibly save the postage costs. Also there is very little chance of damage when collecting
Thanks
Andrew

Hi, If you go to www.fmps.org.uk and email John the editor (who lives in stowmarket) and ask him for the no of a Mr Salmon who lives in Burnham On Crouch and does a good job on mag repairs.

Yes I could certainly recommend Ted Salmon, You will get a top notch job done by him.

Cheers, Gerry.
