General condition was very poor on arrival. Previous "restoration" work had been done to a poor standard with missing gaskets under the cylinders and jacking bolts left protruding resulting in damage/rust to the joint faces. HP piston bolts left loose, two rings missing. Cracked expansion joint on HP supply pie welded. All bearings required work then Timesaver compound was used on conjunction with a motor drive to bed the bearings in. Broken inlet valve casting on LP upper replaced with new manufacturer component. Missing HP control rod manufactured.
