The engine was rebuilt during September 2013 and first ran on the 8th of October. New main bearings in SAE660 white metal lined. Work carried out by Coleherne in Manchester

New outrigger bearing in SAE660 produced in the museum workshop.
Governor completely rebuilt by Roland Craven
New sprayer made by Roland Craven.
Fuel pump overhauled.
New reed valves produced in reinforced rubber - may need to be replaced by original leather (re-manufactured)
Original crank sealing leather used but new garter springs required.
Sprayer cooling tube replaced.
