On arrival the engine was removed from the trailer and placed in a temporary location in Hall 1 so that it could be stripped and checked.

The big end was found to have picked up and will need minor work.
One side of the inlet valve cage is broken and will need repair.,br> Sideshaft gear covers missong and replaced with sheet steel cover.
Head removed as block required scale removal.
Generally the engine is in good order and will be re-assembled during April 2012.
