Engine and gas plant were installed at Coales Mill in 1915. In 1972, a team from Milton Keynes Museum of Rural Life removed the engine and placed it in storage at the museum. In 2009 MK donated the engine to Internal Fire and she will be restored over the 2010 season. The gas plant is too far gone to be used and will be restored for static display.
