The engine is believed to be one of a pair supplied to Canberra when built, then removed and returned to the factory for a rebuild and re-sold to the Ffestiniog hydro-electricPlant.

Good overall order with little work to do before running.
Governor adjustment required before the first run to bring the initial running speed as low as possible.
Ex Paxman engineer Alex Walford spent a day going over the engine and after setting up the governor she was run several times culminating in a full speed run at 1500 rpm for around 5 minutes.
The control cabinets, sump heater and priming pump were rewired and the set is now in full working order,
