i have the happy task of tarting up and cleaning lots of 40 year old switches with old "points style" contacts. also old push button switches etc etc.

what is the best product to use to clean them electrically for better conductivity and to remove the grime of time without buggering anything up.

there seem to be lots of oils and potions on the market to do just this, both aerosol and neat fluid.

Servisol Contact Cleaner has been around for a very long time, and seems to work ........ at least on various cars and old radios I've used it on.

Lots of empty Servisol cans in the Exchange Room, buy the stuff in bulk :) Used it for years.
