Can any of you EIC's identify if this is a stationary engine part and if so which engine it is from. Size is 10 1/2" long by 9 1/4" wide.

    Cheers

    Mark,

the nearest hopper cover I can think of that looks something similar is the Dorman type AB.
But I am not convinced that it is a Dorman.

Thanks Phillip, I think you are right. This looks suspiciously similar.

I was idly browsing the interweb last night, and I'm sure I saw something similar to this loosely sat on top of a Ruston 2PS on the Preston Services site. Any connection ?

You are indeed correct Phillip, the very same part, but definitely not for a 2PS!

BTW if anyone needs it, the cover is up for grabs. Can deliver to Enstone.
