I've just been looking to rebuild my first working toy, given to me as a child "others" dismantled it over 35 years ago so some bits are long gone. I assumed the fine threads were BSF but appear to be 26 TPI cycle thread, regardless of diameter. Any confirmation or other suggestions? I presume this must hark back to their early production of bike engines and parts
Looking through my tooling toy box I find that 26 TPI is Model Engineer Thread, of which I have a full set of taps and dies. Making bolts and nuts just got much quicker!, mind I only have stainless bar stock.
