In our museum we have a rather rare Lister Bruston Lighting Plant of 1921.
We are in the midst of its restoration and so far so good.
Initially we did not plan to restore its batteries to their original state (56 batteries) but the Lister Bruston is worth to be restored to all original details.
We have one problem though, currently we do not have a plan how to start regaining battery power into the 56 battery glass boxes. Does anyone have experience in undertaking such an exercise, replacing lead plates, etc. All good ideas are welcome.
For progress of the restoration, see: http://meijermuseum.nl/onze-motoren/eng ... challenge/
    Thanks for your help!
