As Martin says, we are secure in our secluded Welsh fastness at 1000 feet. There are 4 inches of snow outside the door now and it's still snowing, so I won't be appearing tomorrow. Getting the sheep fed and logging will be tomorrow's activities.

Gary, I hope it all goes well.

thanks to Gary and Steve for a great day, I hope you think it was worth all your effort. Thanks for the hospitality. I think the weather could have been worse as I had heavy rain all the way home. So all in all a great day
    cheers Jon :D

We'd like to thank everyone that turned out to support us this morning in very dodgy weather to spent the day with us in a freezing field.
It was nice to see that everybody got stuck in and had a good time despite the cold.
Not all the engines wanted to play but we had a tune out of the 4 big Listers although the P would only run on the priming cup more tinkering required!. They really don't like the damp conditions, we had similar problems at EOS.
The day was a great success and was well worth the effort over the last few weeks, it was a great way to finish off the Lister centenery year, i'm ready for a rest now :)

Have a good new years everyone, we'll be spending ours in west wales again.

    Cheers Gary

    All,

I must agree with Jon the journey home was horrendous with all the rain and snow, my friend Peter had a small panic when I stopped in the services as I couldn't keep my eyes open and slept for twenty minutes, having the heating on full tilt in the van trying to put warmth back into my body and feet didn't help :D
We enjoyed the day enormously, again thanks Gary and Steve.

Thanks to Gary & Steve for a great day (and their Mother for the lovely Pork rolls!) :)

Heavy snow over the mountain to Aberystwyth - only bad due to the idiot in a 4x4 doing 15mph. The van behaved nicely with the Tangye-patent ballast system!

    Cheers,
    Dan
