Thanks to everyone that made this possible and a big vote of THANKS to Gary and Steve & Mum for all their efforts, tea and food etc.

Got back to Swindon about 7pm after stopping off at the Severn Valley Railway, Kidderminster for a break and finally arrived home tonight.
No Snow just rain going home.

Glad to hear you got home safely Shaggy.

Look forward to the next one in better weather! Can we beat 12 Lister H-R types?

A Happy New Year to Everyone

Hi Mark, i'm glad that you got home ok! thanks for the pics
I just wish that someone had told me how dirty my face looked before the pictures were taken :)

It's a good thing that everyone enjoyed it! At 7.00am Wednesday morning outside sorting a diesel problem out on the Fordson in the misty damp gloom I was thinking what have I gotten these poor victims into :).
But it turned out to be a good day.
It's just a shame we didnt postpone it untill today, we loaded up the remaining engines to transport back to storage and it was loveley weather, mild sunny and dry. It was a good day none the less.
Looking forward to the spring now.

    Cheers Gary..

A really good "do" on a cold day. Many thanks to Gary, Steve and especially to the suplier of those nice pork rolls. ( I should have kept one for the drive to IF - stuck behind an idiot in a van with hazards on doing 15mph because of a little bit of snow)

    We're thinking the 27th or 28th.
We've installed a log burner in the shed here at home that has a hot plate for kettle. Now I have a rented workshop the shed at home will be cleared and used for engine storage only. The plan is to have the engines outside the shed here at home and use the workshop on the day as shelter and some warmth if it's a cold one again, so should be a bit more civilised than last year.
Should have the Lister line up again plus a few of our other engines out. Some engines have now gone so it's mostly Listers and Petters but should still be a good day.
Hot food and beverages will be given to the brave again too.
Hope a few can make it.

    Cheers Gary..

Sounds like a way to banish winter blues... Count me in - how about a Semi-diesel clagfest? I'll get the trolley finished for the Crossley TSH...

Dan yes bring it along we can annoy the new neigbours with that and the S types :) should have them broke in by then though :)
Martin I believe the pansy as you call it has a link to Yorkshire :)

    Cheers Gary..
