Following advice for my Petter Junior oil engine I have had it running on both petrol and paraffin and it sounds lovely so that help is really appreciated. However, I now have another question for you as follows; in fuel chamber there is a brass knurled bolt with a fine thread which looks like it should screw in and prevent the fuel entering the hole directly opposite but it is about 20mm short of reaching its target, should there be something on the end of it? It cant be there just for show it must have a purpose?
Picture please as I cannot grasp your description, Its an age thing It sounds like the fuel weir has some non-standard parts.
Hi Petternut I cant seem to load pictures, error saying too large. will take some advice from someone who knows what their doing.
Hi Petter, sorry its been a while getting back. Have since bought two more junior's and spare carb, it would appear that the brass fuel adjustment piece that goes through the fuel bowl and adjusts fuel flow to the engine had been machined down taking about 35mm of it's length preventing it reaching the port. Anyway problem solved now. but thanks for the help provided much appreciated!
