Robinson B4

    Finally got over to pick up my lockdown purchase, a Robinson hot air engine size B4. I'm not sure if it's an original or a replica, it doesn't seem the same as the Ed Bolton replicas. Trochoidal marks are an indicator it's a replica apparently. I've seen 2 in the USA with the same machine markings as this with an agents plate of a garage in Cornwall, the garage is still going and in the same family so wont hurt to send them a letter to see if they have any information still.

    Turns out it's a replica, not too disappointed as as the scale Rider I was looking would have worked out more expensive.

    Not sure Roland, I think it's a version of the smallest water cooled one they did. 4 1/2" bore by 2 3/4" stroke.
    probably something like a 1/16th or less.
