We should be there! We're taking the Q type and Steves Warsop rammer.
Hopefully we'll be there on thursday sometime. Never been to welland before so we're looking forward to it.

    Cheers Gary..

I shall be there at some point on Thursday with the National F type and Tangye pump, provided it will all go in the van  Started to rebuild the trailer with a new floor, but then realised there's a 2 foot deep foundation for the new yard dug between it and the egress, so it will all have to go in the van somehow!

    Cheers

We'll be there early afternoon Thursday. No guesses needed as to species of engine :)
Did think of entering one of the the 8hp Ms but with 28 sec at 79p/L it'll be somewhat smaller and not running at its rated 1000 rpm either !
Look forward to seeing you all..

    regards

I hope to do a flying visit on Saturday, if the silage harvest is done. See you all then.

PB will fit in on the way there as it is currently a jigsaw puzzle  Whether it will fit in on the way home again if we successfully reassemble it is another matter... :D

    Cheers

If you wish - it's an archaic reference to P T Barnum, who had a sign in his menagerie ' Through here to see the Egress'

You had better take a for sale sign then. We must remember to get a video of it running on parrafin as well. Just to prove to certain people that it can be done.

But mine hasn't got an elbow fitted in the head, so must be a petrol engine, as it says in the Ruston literature...

For the first time in about 5 years I've had chance for a test run of my exhibit prior to taking it to a rally :) Pics at http://www.tangye.org/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=2916 and http://www.tangye.org/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=2918 and a bit of video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8DhKCan9Mo

See you all at Welland tomorrow :D I hear rumours of a barrel of Yorkshire bitter being imported to the south

    Cheers

Nice exhibit that Dan! the pump's going at a fair old lick! you'll shift some water over 3 days :).

We've just been taking care of a few issues on the Q type. We've replaced the gaskets on the vapouriser as the exhaust side had blown a piece out of the gasket, and have re packed the fuel-oil pump as it was leaking at Marcle. Just have to sort out the slack exhaust flange now and she's ready to roll.

    See you there!

    Gary..

  16. Dan, those gears look like nice finger crunchers. Our trailer is all loaded up ready to go, see you there about 2pm or later.

    Gentlemen,

I will not be able to make it as a visitor this year so will expect to see loads of pictures of the mud as it seems that over this side it will be nice and sunny and it does have to rain somewhere :D unfortunately for you lot :D
I am off to Dorset so will see some of you there, I have not forgotten you Dan and will be ringing engine organiser to see what he can offer.
Keep yours ears pinned back about 9:30 Saturday morning to listen out for a big cheer, assuming the Rover passes its MOT.

A most enjoyable weekend though a tad warm. Thanks to all who made it a very fun event. Glad we weren't going the N on the M5. Three lanes crawling from 10 miles S of Bristol.
Now the right side of food, shower and copious tea. Heading for bed
