wot is a lister f engine worth in v.g.c & a runner 8) 8O
A lot depends on age, originality and wether it is actually an F type and not just a D type witha few F features.
Do you have a picture of the engine? Its very hard to give a value of any engine without actually seeing it.
As ever it is worth what someone is prepared to pay and the vendor is happy to accept. As Mike says, a picture would help. Plus remember that most valuations are worth what you pay for them...
i would say £170 tops but i dont really know
they dont float my boat.....to me theyre just a lister d that runs too fast!!
i want a lister g i luv em!
Starnge post. You give a price but then contradict yourself by saying you dont really know?
F's are a nice enough engine, tohugh your right they do rev a bit on the fast side. Having said that though, so do G's as they are also industrial engines. The G's are a nice intresting engine, but the rad cooled models tend to be a bitt less desierable as they are just all encased in tin with nothing to see.
my friend has a g that i think was once a rad cooled one as it has a pulley behind the flyhweel, nice engine...one will turn up one day along with a stuart turner and a pb: )
Hi Guys, the only F I can recall selling on ebay in the last few months was in tidy condition on a 4 wheel steel trolly and made £150
