    Can anyone make out the engine in this picture?

    looks like a Bamford thats the fuel tank at the top. I think!!!!!!!!!!!

    Pardon my ignorance, but didn't Bamford start production of stationary engines after WW1?

    havent a clue, that what I think it looks like, how do you know its WW1

  6. Not a Bamford of any age and if confirmed as WW1 picture then no way as the 1st Bamfords were only built in 1920 and then only horizontals, the verticals were about 1929.

    I think it is possibly a 6HP Hamworthy, hopper cooled.
